BACKGROUND
In the wake of Hurricane Harvey and subsequent hurricanes of the 2017 Atlantic season, the YMCA of the USA found itself in urgent need of funds to support local Ys and their communities. They needed to launch a campaign as soon as possible, ensuring their online donation form would properly route funds through their primary CRM. The Y’s digital agency couldn’t handle this task immediately in-house, so they looked for a trusted outside partner who could deftly navigate the technical complexity of their client’s online fundraising software.

Given our existing relationship with the Y’s digital agency, the Tackle team was able to step in and implement a plan to execute a successful fundraising campaign. Our extensive knowledge of the Y’s online fundraising software allowed us to quickly customize the donation form, set up an email campaign, and draw up segmentation queries. After tests were approved, the first campaign was launched. From start to finish, we were able to complete each hurricane project within three to four business days.
