South Florida Wildlife Center, an affiliate of The Humane Society of the United States, saves wildlife through ambulance rescue, clinic triage, state-of-the-art diagnostics and expert veterinary treatment. Their efforts rescue and rehabilitate over 12,000 wild animals every year.
About a year after a major website redesign project involving members of Tackle’s services team, they contacted us with a few new challenges.
- Staff needed to generate and send fundraising emails without assistance from a web developer to rewrite HTML and CSS.
- Recent changes to their custom-designed donation form broke the CSS styling and they didn’t have a way to revert back to a usable version.
Our familiarity with South Florida Wildlife Center allowed us to move swiftly and efficiently.
Tackle presented a cost-benefit analysis of email options in which we recommended they utilize their current marketing software for email campaigns. We highlighted an under-used feature and created a template and training materials for the organization to own. Voila! Non-technical staff could create emails without the assistance of a web developer using existing software.
On to the donation form! Tackle’s knowledge of the wildlife center’s donation system enabled us to quickly restore the broken code. We implemented styles to fix the page, and even added some new functionality, all within a short timeframe.
