BACKGROUND
Stand Up To Cancer enables scientific breakthroughs by funding collaborative, multidisciplinary, multi-institutional scientific research teams and investigators. 100% of funds received from the public support SU2C’s collaborative cancer research programs.
Initially key staff changes left Stand Up To Cancer without a system administrator and strategist for their CRM and online fundraising systems, all vital to SU2C’s fundraising success. Over time, a growing number of issues related to technology and fundraising processes had gone unresolved. SU2C needed support to manage this laundry list of critical issues.

Tackle stepped in to triage and resolve immediate marketing + technology issues with a phased plan.
- We focused on reporting methods, system integration, campaign launches, tool selection, and day-to-day operations support.
- Then (major fires extinguished) we were able to turn our attention to SU2C’s ongoing technology maintenance needs and fundraising campaigns.
- Tackle’s monthly services arrangement ensured that support and technical expertise were available to the SU2C staff in the absence of an in-house technical staff member.
